Speaking of Women's Health ®

For the ninth consecutive year, Florida’s most watched Public Broadcasting Service station, WEDU has retained The Outsource Media Group to coordinate it’s Speaking of Women’s Health® conferences. These events are important annual fundraisers for the station, which serves 16 counties on the West Coast of Florida. The 2008 conferences are scheduled for June 21, in Sarasota and August 23, in Tampa.

These unique events pamper, empower and inform women about health and well-being topics. The combination of food, gifts, and compelling local and national speakers has proven to be an incredible success. Previous events coordinated by The Outsource Media Group in Tampa, Orlando, St. Petersburg and Sarasota have all been sell-outs! (Tickets often sell out in just a few hours.)

The Outsource Media Group is seeking local sponsors to help underwrite the costs of these fundraising events for WEDU. Depending on the level of their support, these partners receive recognition on-air, online, and in print advertising, in addition to access to hundreds of women on the day of the event.

Forum

The Outsource Media Group sells advertising for this unique quarterly published by the Florida Humanities Council. Forum has been recognized by the Florida Magazine Association with numerous awards, including Best Overall Magazine, Best Written Magazine, Best Feature Article and Best Single Issue.

With a circulation of 25,000 per issue and an estimated pass-along readership of 100,000, Forum reaches an audience that is predominately female (70%), highly educated (51% have a masters degree or higher), and financially successful (53% have incomes exceeding $60,000.)

CenterBill

The Outsource Media Group sells advertising for the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center’s official program, CenterBill. Nearly a half million theater goers each year consider CenterBill the menu for their evening’s entertainment. Frequently they read it from cover to cover to glean information on a show’s stars, plot and background. Many people save them as souvenirs of a special evening out.

CenterBill is published 10 times a year. Its readership is affluent (more than 43% have an annual household income of $75,000 or higher) and educated (65% completed college.) Two thirds of the readers are women, more than one-third are between the ages of 25 and 49.






Helping Florida’s Libraries Stay Vital in Their Communities

The Outsource Media Group continues to assist the Tampa Bay Library Consortium as it raises awareness and support for the exciting online "Virtual Library of the 21st Century" as well as for traditional “bricks and mortar” libraries across the state. The "Virtual Library" includes online services like "Ask a Librarian" and "iBorrow," innovations that revolutionize the way we use libraries. With the help of the Outsource team, TBLC and the Florida Library Association continue to develop new marketing efforts to keep libraries current and vital to their communities.

TBLC's membership includes 95 libraries in 12 west central Florida counties (representing more than 3.8 million people.)



The 17th Annual Tampa Tribune Outdoors Expo & Boat Show

The Outsource Media Group is currently coordinating the 17th Annual Tampa Tribune Outdoors Expo & Boat Show scheduled for February 29, March 1 & 2 at the Florida State Fairgounds. Recognized as Florida’s largest and best-managed family outdoors show, this amazing event attracts tens of thousands of attendees each year, dwarfing other events in Florida and much of the Southeast.

The Outsource Media Group is seeking vendors and sponsors for the Expo. The Expo offers 140,000 square feet of air-conditioned floor space, plus major outdoors display areas in a lake-dotted landscape with open or tented space for boats, RV’s and trucks.

WAVE Magazine the Florida’s Marine SuperShows

The Outsource Media Group is selling advertising for WAVE, the number one distributed marine lifestyle publication in Florida and fifth in the entire U.S. Through strategic partnerships with Florida newspapers including The Tampa Tribune and The Miami Herald, WAVE reaches tens of thousands of additional readers in affluent zip codes. Additional partnerships with McClatchy Publishing, Sky Auction and Connected Media, WAVE reaches across the country and around the world in showcasing the very best on, in, and around the water.

Outsource is currently recruiting vendors for Florida’s Marine Super Shows, scheduled for April 25-27 at Haulover Park & Marine in Bal Harbour and May 23-26 at Vinoy Park, Marina & Hotel in St. Petersburg. The Marine Super Shows are designed from the waterline up to sell not only boats and marine products, but the lifestyle that makes it all possible.
